Our
new GTWY6 Aerial Work Platform, a kind of manual operated vertical-elevating

GTWY6
is ideal for factory maintenance. Dismantled, it can be stored
in minimum space, then easily assembled when required to reach
those high points. Alernatively, it can be left part assembled
and tucked into a corner to be quickly utilised when required. |
In
the building and construction industry, GTWY6 can be used to
advantage both indoors and outdoors. Indoors it can safely reach
those high points for lighting, ducting and suspended ceiling
installation. Outdoors it can eliminate costly scaffolding providing
instant access at economical cost. |

Method of Operation
After extending outriggers and adusting for uneven ground by
means of the built-in screw jacks and spirit level, the operator
enters the rail protected platform enclosure, inserts and locks
the first mast section. The platform is then wound up the mast
section by rotating the handles (left hand clockwise) for approximately
1 metre. Other mast sections are then added until the required
height is reached. To lower the platform th direction of rotation
is reversed. A centrifugal safetly brake protects against over
rotation. |
